Orders
We try to ship all orders the next business day. We will send you an email as soon as we know what the status of your order is. We will tell you when we will ship the order and by what method,

When placing an order the shopping basket will keep a running total of the items you have selected to purchase. Item name, quantity, price each, and total price. When you select the checkout page you are given the option of paying by check or credit card. Important!  The shopping cart uses cookies to record each item you wish to purchase. If the checkout page does not contain the items you wish to purchase you will need to enable cookies to proceed. You will be unable to add items to your shopping cart if cookies are disabled on your computer.

If you select the check option you will be taken to a page that contains all the items in your basket. You can print the form directly from that page. Then mail it to us with payment

If you select the credit card option you will be taken to a page that shows the basket details and a confirmation of billing and shipping addresses. Any information you wish to change can be done here by clicking "View Basket" or the back button on your browser. If you select the view basket button you will need to hit the back button, when finished, to return to the previous page. Click "Update" after changing quantities and the basket will update any changes you have made.

QUILTS
When working on the denim Quilts we used Mundial brand craft and floral scissors. They have a short blade and spring loaded handles to make it easier to clip all the slits needed to fray the quilt. We have also found a pair of Fiskars scissors that work equally as well.

Also remember to check the lint filter of your dryer frequently the first couple of times that you dry the quilt. It produces a large amount of lint and may overheat your dryer if you don't clean the lint filter.

The pattern calls for denim but you could use flannel or any cotton fabric of your choice. The advantage of using other fabrics is that you can make the quilt in any colors you like instead of just shades of denim.

The Quilt patterns that we sell call for using a double stitch or a stretch stitch when sewing them. This is to make sure the stitch is strong enough to last with the heavy denim material. Basically the stitch called for is done by your sewing machine as 1 stitch backwards for every 2 stitches it goes forward. Some machine makers may call the stitches by different names.

General
Most of our patterns call for the use of "heavy thread". We use hand stitching upholstery thread. It is very strong, inexpensive, and can be obtained at most upholstery shops. They use the thread to tie buttons in place on sofas and chairs. They use a slip knot, that we learned years ago, to tie buttons in place. It allows them to reposition them at will until they decide to lock them in place. If you can get them to teach you this knot it will make stuffing circles and other hard to close items much easier to do.

We use a die cutter system to speed cutting of shapes for dolls. This allows us to save a lot of time in pre production. We can cut dozens of arms, heads, or legs all at the same time in a single pass. If you are interested in speeding up your cutting check out accucut.com .

Refund Policy
Since patterns are printed materials and can be easily duplicated no refunds are available. If however you receive a pattern that is incomplete contact us and we will immediately provide you with the pages needed to complete your pattern. This can be done by fax, email, or US mail.
